FOR PARTICIPANTS
Start With You, Not the Shift
Before anyone steps into your day, we take time to understand how you want that support to feel and work.
Your routines, communication, preferences, culture, what puts you at ease and what you actually want help with all matter.
We share the right information with your worker beforehand, so the first shift starts with some understanding, not a blank page.
You shouldn’t have to fit around the support. The support should know how to fit around you.
GETTING STARTED
Getting to Know You Comes First
STEP 1 — Tell Us What Matters
We begin with a real conversation about what you want support with, how your day usually works, what you prefer, how you communicate, and anything cultural or personal you want us to understand.
STEP 2 — Find Someone Who Fits
The right worker is more than someone with an open shift. We consider experience, personality, communication style, culture and your preferences to find someone you are more likely to feel comfortable with.
STEP 3 -No First-Shift Guesswork
Before the first regular shift, your worker is given the important information they need. That means less repeating yourself, fewer awkward first shifts, and a better chance of the support feeling right from the beginning.
The better we understand you before support starts, the better the support can feel from day one.
Our Speciality
Support for People With Psychosocial Disability and Diverse Life Experiences
People are rarely defined by one diagnosis, one experience or one chapter of their life.
Rahma Care has strong experience supporting people with psychosocial disability, including people whose circumstances may also involve current or past substance use or contact with the justice system.
In these situations, trust can take time, consistency can matter enormously, and the relationship with the worker can shape whether support actually works. We take the time to understand what has shaped the person, what matters now, and what will help support feel workable in everyday life.
The history matters. The circumstances matter. But neither replaces the person.
Across our team, you’ll hear English, Urdu, Pashto, Punjabi, Hindi and Mandarin. Where possible, we consider language and cultural preferences when matching support, so the connection can feel more natural from the beginning.
STARTING SUPPORT
Want to See if Rahma Care Feels Right for You?
Tell us what you are looking for and what matters to you. We can talk through the support, answer your questions and explain clearly what happens next. You do not need to have everything worked out before getting in touch.
